Bannerman Named Regional Manager at Zurich U.S. Specialties

NEW YORK, June 17, 1999 -- Zurich U.S., a leading commercial property and casualty insurer, today announced that Brent Bannerman has been promoted to Regional Manager of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions for the Accident & Health Special Risks division of Zurich U.S. Specialties. Based in New York, Bannerman will be responsible for sales, underwriting and business development for the area.

"Brent brings over ten years of experience to his new position," says Stephen Mueller, vice president, Sales and Field Operations for A & H Special Risks at Zurich U.S. Specialties. "He successfully established our presence in the accident & health market in Boston and will be instrumental in expanding our business in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states."

Bannerman joined Zurich in 1996 as Territorial Manager of New England, where he opened and managed an office for the Accident & Health Special Risks division. His previous sales experience includes positions with UNUM Canada and Commercial Life.

The Accident & Health Special Risks division provides insurance solutions developed to address the needs of customers, encompassing employee benefits managers, human resource professionals, and risk managers. The division offers accident, disability including integrated disability, and specialty health products including medical stop loss and managed transplant for self-insured groups.
