The Chrysler Minority Dealers Association presented Bill Stoothoff, Zurich’s vice president of F&I, with the Roadrunner Award for going above and beyond Zurich’s sponsorship of the association. The award was presented at a reception held during the winter meeting in San Francisco on February 7, 2008.

“It’s an honor to be associated with a great organization such as CMDA,” Stoothoff said. “We put a lot of value in the close relationships we are able to develop with dealers.”

Zurich has been an active sponsor of CMDA for the past three years. Stoothoff said that having close contact with dealers helped Zurich in running their business. “We get a greater understanding of the dealers and their needs,” Stoothoff said. “It helps us learn where we can further help dealers and owners.”

Zurich’s national F&I executive Glenn Roberts also made a presentation at the meeting on how dealerships can dramatically increase profits by making minor changes in the way they operate. Each participant at the meeting received a Powerpoint document of Robert’s presentation via e-mail.
