Zurich named as the top-rated construction insurer by National Underwriter's 2011 “Risk Manager Choice Awards"

Zurich also named best overall commercial insurance provider in survey

Schaumburg, Ill., June 9, 2011 – Zurich, a leading property and casualty insurance provider globally and in North America, today announced its construction business was named the top-rated construction insurer by National Underwriter magazine's annual "Risk Manager Choice Awards." In addition, Zurich was also named best overall commercial insurance provider.

The awards are based on a survey of 364 insurance buyers that was conducted in March by The Flaspöhler Research Group, in partnership with National Underwriter. The survey consisted of 40 questions about insurer utilization, perceptions of insurers and related topics. Respondents were only asked to rate companies with which they were familiar.
