SCHAUMBURG, IL--January 16-- Zurich-American Insurance announces the launch of its newly designed Web site which offers detailed information on available products and services, corporate information, and career opportunities within the company.
Visitors can now see such in-depth information about a particular product as its limits, capacity, related Zurich-American products, and a customer profile to have a better working knowledge of how Zurich-American can fulfill their needs.
"We've added more than 400 Web pages to our site this month," noted Bryan Mjaanes, Zurich-American's Web manager. "We asked brokers in a recent survey what would be most helpful to them, and we've created the level of detail they asked for."
Zurich-American has several new Web projects underway to benefit brokers. A password-protected area will be created where brokers can access direct contact information for all of the company's products and services. This area may also offer brokers the ability to download applications for the different Zurich-American products, and allow them to participate in on-line discussion groups with their colleagues.
Also new to the Zurich-American Web site is its ability to link corporate information to interested parties via Internet E-mail. Visitors can subscribe to certain information services (corporate news, press releases, etc.) which they'll receive once they've provided their E-mail address. "The ability to disseminate information on a global basis, in a matter of minutes to people who have expressed an interest in receiving it is a tremendous capability for any organization," said Mr. Mjaanes.
Zurich-American has also added new navigation tools to its Web site to help users jump to other sections of its site more easily.
