Dedicated "Z-Cat" Office and Local Field Staff Will Expedite Property Insurance Claim Payments

TAMPA, FLORIDA, -- Zurich U.S., one of the nation’s leading property and casualty insurers, has established a special Z-Cat Office staffed with case managers to aid business insurance customers in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. Businesses that carry property insurance from Zurich U.S. and need to report a claim or otherwise seek assistance in recovering from the storm may call the Z-Cat Office at 877-656-8782 or contact their insurance agent or broker.

Along with the Z-Cat Office, which is located at Zurich U.S.’ Schaumburg, Illinois, headquarters, Zurich U.S. has set up a field office in Tampa, Florida, staffed with claims adjusters who will provide immediate on-site aid to local businesses. These adjusters will work closely with the Zurich U.S.’ Z-Cat operation to speed the processing of claims payments.

The special Zurich U.S. recovery resources will remain in place for as long as needed to ease the recovery process for customers, Fabian said.
