SCHAUMBURG, IL, July 19, 1999--Zurich U.S., one of the nation’s leading property and casualty insurance companies, and Veeder-Root Company, the industry leader in leak detection, fuel replenishment and compliance service solutions, have reached an agreement in which Zurich will offer significant credits on its pollution liability insurance for fuel tanks to customers enrolled in Veeder-Root's Simplicity(SM) Petroleum Data Services (SPDS). Under the terms of the agreement, Zurich U.S. will apply an additional 20% per tank credit for insured facilities that utilize the Simplicity program.
Simplicity(SM) PDS provides remote monitoring and data collection services for customers' underground storage tank and line systems. Simplicity offers 24-hour, 7-days-a-week site monitoring, alarm detection and response, remote diagnostics, accurate monthly compliance reports, 5- or 10-year parts and labor warranty for Veeder-Root equipment, and options including flexible, modular fuel management solutions.
