Zurich Insurance giving free Zurich Classic tickets to veterans, active-duty military
Schaumburg, IL, March 6, 2018
To thank veterans and active-duty military for their service, Zurich Insurance is offering 100 free tickets to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans to servicemembers and their families.
Free tickets will be available through the Veteran Tickets Foundation, also known as Vet Tix. The tickets are valid for weekly general admission to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, April 26 – 29, 2018.
“We are grateful to those who have bravely served and protected our country,” said Randall Clouser, executive vice president for Zurich North America and executive sponsor of Zurich’s employee resource group for veterans. “We are honored to offer servicemembers tickets to the Zurich Classic – the only PGA TOUR, FedExCup event with a fan-favorite team format. To achieve great things takes teamwork, and veterans and active-duty military know the difference we can make working together.”
Tickets will be available on Vettix.org starting March 26, 2018.
Zurich has a robust employee resource group for veterans called the Veterans Engagement Team at Zurich or VETZ. This group strives to build a diverse community for all current and former military service members and military supporters while establishing an inclusive environment to help employees build a career, share experiences and become thought leaders among the Zurich team. Since its launch in 2015, VETZ has grown to 140 members within 19 different locations across the U.S. with six core chapters in New York, Schaumburg, Colorado, California, Texas, and Florida. For the second year in a row, Zurich’s focus on veterans has been recognized as best employer for veterans by Military Times.
