Zurich Insurance named to Forbes’ Best Employers for Women list

Schaumburg, Ill., July 26, 2018

Independent survey ranks the multi-line insurance provider among the top 300 U.S. companies with more than 1,000 employees

Zurich Insurance has been named to Forbes magazine’s inaugural list of America’s Best Employers for Women.

The companies on Forbes’ list were chosen based on an independent survey from a sample of 40,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations. Forbes considered both direct and indirect recommendations to curate the list.

“It is not by chance that Zurich is being recognized by Forbes as one of America’s best employers for women. At Zurich, we make a conscious effort to support women—and all employees—in the workplace,” said Kathleen Savio, CEO of Zurich North America. “Our Women’s Innovation Network, an employee resource group that provides a professional network for inspiration, development and connection to colleagues across Zurich, is just one way that we recognize the important contributions of women here.”

Zurich has previously been named to Forbes’ list of “Best Large Employers” and the magazine’s list of “America’s Best Employers for Diversity.” Zurich last year was named to Working Mother’s100 Best Companies” for the fourth consecutive year. Earlier this year, Zurich was named one of the “Top Companies for Executive Women” by the National Association for Female Executives.
