Jessica McMahon appointed Property Leader for Midwest region

Zurich veteran will be dedicated to further developing relationships with brokers and customers, and offering solutions in the corporate property space.

Jessica McMahonJessica McMahon has been named Midwest Regional Vice President, Property Leader for U.S. Commercial Insurance at Zurich North America, effective immediately.

“Jessica will be responsible for retaining, developing and expanding corporate property business for our Midwest region, and working closely with our brokers and customers to provide solutions that meet their respective needs,” said Joffre Mishall, Head of Property for Zurich North America. McMahon will report to Mishall and remain based in the Chicago area.

“I am excited to be joining Joffre’s leadership team in such an active property market,” McMahon said. “Zurich is well positioned in this market and I look forward to further working with our brokers to help our customers protect themselves from risk.”

McMahon joined Zurich in 2008 and has taken on a variety of underwriting roles in the Property space. Prior to her new position, she was an Underwriting Manager in Large Property, where she oversaw the western portion of the Midwest region, and developed and guided underwriters in delivering Zurich’s Large Property strategy. She also was responsible for cultivating broker relationships with Aon and Willis in the Midwest.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
