Ralph ChristyRalph Christy has been selected as National Construction Energy Underwriter for U.S. Commercial Insurance.

This newly created position is supported by Zurich’s Construction and Energy Property units.

Christy joined Zurich in 2016 and previously worked at CNA as a large property underwriting consultant and an equipment breakdown underwriting consultant. Here are three more things to know about Christy:

  • He enjoys playing all racquet sports competitively — tennis, platform tennis and squash — as well as basketball and golf.
  • He enjoys rock music from the ‘60s and ‘70s, especially the Grateful Dead.
  • He is a bona fide dog lover and enjoys the companionship of a beautiful white Lab on weekly hiking excursions.
