Zurich North America has teamed up with SES Risk Solutions to provide a property and general liability insurance product for real estate investors who own residential rental properties, and support for the management of their property portfolios. SES is a leading program administrator (PA), affiliated with Alliant Underwriting Solutions, focusing primarily on providing insurance services for portfolios of real estate properties.

The Real Estate Investors (REI) program addresses the unique property and liability exposures that investors face. SES’ Total Insurance Management System, TIMS®, allows investors to efficiently manage their property portfolios. This includes the ability to add assets online anytime throughout the policy term.

“Zurich is proud to offer this customer-led, easy-to-work-with insurance solution to the real estate investor market,” said Greg Massey, head of Programs for Zurich North America. “With more than 100 years of underwriting experience and great financial strength globally, Zurich was just the type of company SES was looking for to assist in expanding this offering across the country.”

“We are excited to announce a new collaboration with Zurich North America effective January 1, 2020, the Real Estate Investors Program,” said Shaun Shenouda, COO, Programs Executive for SES Risk Solutions “SES and Zurich are already closely aligned in their risk appetite and goals. Adding Zurich to our existing portfolio will allow us to continue to expand our distribution in existing markets and provide new marketing channels in other areas.”

According to SES, the market for single-family residential rental properties has grown rapidly and is estimated to be as large as 14 million properties. “Capitalizing on Zurich’s stellar reputation combined with our expertise in the industry, we expect to see tremendous growth in policies and increased business opportunities in 2020,” Shenouda added.
