Chris Taylor is the Head of Healthcare and Financial Institutions in Commercial Insurance for Zurich North America. He leads a team responsible for helping make Zurich a provider of choice for products, services and market-leading solutions in Healthcare and Financial Institutions. His responsibilities include creating strong value proposition, backed by a broad suite of products and services, as well as creating the strategy to achieve company goals with the Healthcare and Financial Institutions sectors. Before being named Head of Healthcare, Taylor’s focus was on the Financial Institutions marketplace. He played a key role in executing the Zurich go-to-market strategy designed to deliver a seamless approach to serving customers and their brokers. He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry and has held a number of management and leadership positions in underwriting, marketing and sales. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, such as those hosted by the American Bankers Association.
Taylor has served on several industry and non-profit boards, including the Maryland Joint Insurance Association, the Maryland Auto Insurance Fund and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake.
Taylor earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola University. He also studied advanced business concepts at both Columbia University and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
