The internet as we have known it until recently has been a global network that allows individuals and organizations to connect with one another and to vast sources of information—any time, from anywhere there is an internet access point. As more devices become connected, risks amplify and many companies are frankly unprepared. But the tools needed to make the internet of things (IoT) more secure already exist.
