CHARLOTTE, NC, November 21, 2022 – The National Junior College Athletic Association has announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Zurich Insurance, a leading insurance provider that strives to help solve the growing financial burden of health care facing Americans. In collaboration with NJCAA’s student athlete insurance broker and claims administrator Bob McCloskey Insurance, Zurich becomes the official provider of student athlete insurance for the NJCAA. Zurich will also be the presenting sponsor of the DI Football, DI Men's Basketball and DI Women's Basketball Championships, as well as the NJCAA Network, which airs the association’s national championship events and digital content.

“We’re extremely proud to provide student athlete insurance for the NJCAA,” said David Fike, Head of Life, Accident & Health for Zurich North America. “Our sponsorship with the NJCAA shows our support for these dedicated student athletes as they play the sport they love and strive to become champions.”

The 2022 NJCAA DI Football Championship will be held at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, AR, for the third-consecutive season. The championship will be televised nationally for the fifth consecutive year and for the first time by ESPNU on Wednesday, December 14 at 9:00 PM ET / 8:00 PM CT.

The 2023 NJCAA DI Men's Basketball Championship marks the 75th anniversary of the tournament being played inside the historic Hutchinson Sports Arena in Hutchinson, KS. The tournament will tip-off on March 20 with a national champion being crowned on March 25. The 2023 NJCAA DI Women's Basketball Championship is slated for March 22-27 and will be played at the Rip Griffin Center in Lubbock, TX, for the eighth consecutive year. Both championship finals will be nationally televised on an ESPN linear network.

"The NJCAA is very excited about the new collaboration with Zurich," stated Dr. Christopher Parker, NJCAA President & CEO. "This strategic relationship will pave the foundation for two organizations with similar values and goals to positively impact the lives of two-year collegiate student-athletes across the country."
