Sabrina Hart is the Regional Executive for the Midwest Region for Zurich North America’s U.S. Commercial Insurance. In this role, she is responsible for all market execution and business operations in the Midwest. In addition to leading the Midwest Regional Leadership Team, she oversees the local Sales & Distribution staff in achieving profitability and growth targets through customer and distribution strategies. She has been with Zurich since 1997.

Prior to her current role, Hart was the Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich Global Corporate in North America (GCiNA), where she oversaw the underwriting of all corporate lines of business and was responsible for the management of all market-facing underwriting business functions. She has also held roles as GCiNA Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Risk Operations within the Group Risk Management at Zurich Financial Services in Switzerland, and as Chief Underwriting Officer for Specialty Products. Before joining Zurich, she worked at Marsh USA in Atlanta, where she served as Vice President and Southeast Healthcare Practice Leader.

External appointments

Hart currently serves on the Board of Governors at St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business Maguire Academy of Insurance and Risk Management, the Board of Visitors at the University of North Carolina and the Advisory Board of the Katie School of Insurance at Illinois State University. She also serves on the board of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and chairs the board of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Midwest.

Educational background

Hart earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She also has a certificate in strategic management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
