Skills and experience

As Assistant Vice President – Technical Underwriter for Zurich North America, Fred focuses on how emerging risks and technology affect Zurich’s customers and how Zurich’s offerings can play a part in helping address their risks. Fred has more than 30 years of safety and risk management experience in private industry, consulting and the insurance industry—including his previous role as Casualty Technical Director for Risk Engineering at Zurich North America.

Educational background

Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in occupational safety from Illinois State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. He also holds Certified Safety Professional and Associate of Risk Management designations.
