Marilyn Boss is Zurich North America’s Head of Customer Relationship Management. In this role, Boss leads Zurich’s strategic customer relationship agenda, overseeing a team of Global Relationship Leaders who focus on strengthening engagement with Zurich’s top strategic relationship customers in close collaboration with key brokers. She champions the customer experience, drives long-term profitability and ensures the voice of Zurich’s key customers is represented at the highest levels. By partnering with Zurich North America business units and teams across the globe, Boss helps drive product density, renewal retention and new business by delivering a differentiated experience and seamless access to Zurich’s products and services.

Previously, Boss served as Regional Executive for the West Region. In that role, she was responsible for executing Zurich’s business strategy in the West, achieving growth and profitability goals, ensuring operational excellence and building strong relationships with customers and distributors. Prior to joining Zurich, Boss held several leadership roles at Marsh USA, Inc., including Pacific North Corporate Segment Leader and Seattle Office Head. She also served as a Client Executive in Marsh’s San Francisco, New York and Seattle offices during her tenure.

External appointments

Boss has also contributed her leadership to the community, having served as Chairwoman of the Board of the Downtown Seattle Association, an organization dedicated to providing vision and leadership on critical issues and opportunities facing Seattle’s urban core, and as Chairwoman of the Washington Athletic Club.

Educational background

Boss holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Arizona State University.
