Skills and experience
Peter Caminiti is Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich North America, responsible for leading the company’s Technical Underwriting team, including Pricing, Product Management, Sustainability Underwriting, Underwriting University, Lines of Business Underwriting and Underwriting Services. He reports to the CEO of Zurich North America as well as the Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich Insurance Group. He is a member of the Zurich North America Executive Committee, the Zurich North America Leadership Team and the Zurich Group Leadership Team.
Caminiti, who has been with Zurich for over a decade, most recently served as Head of Underwriting for U.S. National Accounts at Zurich. He earlier held a variety of technical underwriting roles.
Before joining Zurich in 2014, Caminiti held leadership roles in finance, underwriting and product management at Liberty Mutual. He began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen LLP.

Caminiti serves on the Board of Directors for the National Council on Compensation Insurance.
Educational background
Caminiti graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He completed the Zurich Insurance Leadership Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
