Zurich introduces MBR 360 digital platform to simplify Builders Risk
New portal enables brokers to quote, manage and service Master Builders Risk insurance programs for projects through a single digital experience.
Zurich U.S. Construction today announced the launch of MBR 360, a digital portal designed to simplify and accelerate the way brokers quote, manage and service Master Builders Risk projects. Accessible through the My Zurich Broker Concierge platform, MBR 360 brings key Builders Risk program information and access together, helping brokers move from project intake to quote, bind, servicing and closeout with greater efficiency and visibility of their program.
MBR 360 supports a more modern Builders Risk experience by reducing manual workflows, minimizing back-and-forth communications and enabling real-time transactions for in-scope risks. The platform gives brokers Zurich works with a centralized location to manage project enrollments, access portfolio information, request servicing actions and track activity across their Master Builders Risk programs.
“MBR 360 reflects Zurich’s continued investment in digital innovation and simplification for brokers and customers in construction,” said James Savage, Head of Construction for Zurich U.S. “By creating a more intuitive, transparent and efficient experience for brokers, we are helping simplify Builders Risk program management while delivering the quality of service and solutions they expect from Zurich.”
Through MBR 360, brokers can generate quotes, bind eligible projects, download certificates, request extensions, update project details, manage closeouts and receive automated notifications—all within the same digital environment. For projects that fall outside program parameters, the platform routes the submission to underwriting for review.
Key capabilities of MBR 360 include:
- Real-time quoting and binding: Brokers can calculate premium, generate quotes, bind eligible projects and download certificates in real time.
- End-to-end project lifecycle management: The platform supports project enrollment, placement, extensions, updates and closeout activities.
- Smart referral routing: Projects outside program parameters are flagged with clear referral reasons and routed to underwriting.
- Portfolio and reporting visibility: Brokers can view project status, activity, expirations, closeouts and portfolio-level information from a centralized dashboard.
- Guided user experience: Tool tips, definitions and clearly identified required fields help users navigate the platform with ease and confidence.
- Dynamic data inputs: Features such as location validation and catastrophe zone mapping help align project details with program terms.
MBR 360 is being introduced as part of Zurich’s broader commitment to advancing digital capabilities that improve broker experience, operational efficiency and customer outcomes. Future enhancements are expected to include expanded reporting and analytics, interactive portfolio mapping, broader global capabilities and additional service functionality.
“Builders Risk programs are complex, time-sensitive and increasingly data-driven,” said Matt Wagner, Head of Construction Property for Zurich U.S. “MBR 360 helps bring critical project information and transactions into one place, giving brokers better visibility and helping Zurich respond in a more timely fashion to the needs of the marketplace.”
MBR 360 will continue to evolve based on broker, customer and underwriting feedback.
