Zurich U.S. elevates Chicago presence with new downtown space at Willis Tower

Zurich U.S. is moving into a new downtown office at Willis Tower, a second state-of-the-art workspace in Chicagoland, the global insurance provider’s U.S. home for over 100 years. 

Zurich is relocating its downtown office to a new 52,000-square-foot space at Willis Tower, moving from its previous Riverside Plaza location. The new office is designed around shared workspace, flexibility and collaboration, and its workspace needs as it continues to offer hybrid work arrangements and its state-of-the-art headquarters in the northwest suburb of Schaumburg.  

The approach reflects a broader trend among large employers in Chicago, who are investing in modern, high-quality workspaces as they support ongoing hybrid work options and make offices a vibrant magnet for face-to-face collaboration and mentorship.

The Willis Tower office joins Zurich's Schaumburg headquarters, which remains the center of the company's North American operations. Together, the two locations underscore Zurich's long-standing commitment to Chicagoland, where the company has operated for more than 100 years.
