In 1912, a Zurich manager was sent from Switzerland on a mission: Cross the Atlantic and see if Zurich’s risk solutions might benefit trailblazers and job creators on the other side. He explored, listened and learned that the answer was “yes.” In the century since, Zurich North America has helped businesses in 25 industries protect their life’s work and reach their potential across more than 210 countries and territories.

Today, as industries and risks evolve, Zurich is still exploring, listening and learning. As a result, we’re simplifying our operations, innovating with digital tools, and empowering our teams to help our customers and distributors seize opportunities and surmount challenges faster.     Our 9,000+ employees in North America helped contribute over $2.8 million in value to nonprofits in 2016, but our commitment to communities goes deeper than any wallet. Through volunteering, we learned that tight budgets are challenging nonprofits to be more efficient than ever. So our employees began leading SkillShare Summits at our headquarters. More than 50 nonprofits came in 2017 to attend workshops where Zurich employees lend insights to help nonprofits magnify their impact.
