Zurich U.S. primarily offers commercial insurance and specialty insurance programs, including general liability, property, workers’ compensation, professional liability, cyber, environmental, construction, surety bonds and industry-specific programs. In the U.S., Zurich focuses on commercial and specialty products rather than standard personal lines.
Zurich does not actively market standard personal lines such as homeowners or renters' insurance in the United States.
The Zurich U.S. headquarters is located at the Zurich Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, just outside Chicago. Our award-winning campus opened in 2016 and is designed to support collaboration, innovation and long-term sustainability. The building has earned LEED Platinum® certification1, the highest rating from the U.S. Green Building Council, reflecting our strong commitment to environmental responsibility.
Our headquarters features a distinctive three bar architectural design that promotes natural light, connection and teamwork. The surrounding 40-acre site includes native landscaping, walking trails, water features, green roof space and electric vehicle charging stations. Inside, employees benefit from sit stand desks, collaboration enclaves, automated blinds, social hubs, a cafeteria, a fitness center and meditation spaces – all built to enhance the employee experience.
