Zurich and Arrowsight earn Insurance Insider U.S. Honors Award
Collaboration of the Year honor highlights innovative approach to construction-site safety; 5 additional Zurich finalists are also recognized.
Zurich U.S. Construction, Zurich Resilience Solutions and Arrowsight Inc. won the Collaboration of the Year award at the 2026 Insurance Insider U.S. Honors, recognizing their work to bring innovative camera-enabled safety coaching to construction jobsites to help support worker safety.
This award honors a solution that combines mobile video technology, human-led coaching and risk engineering expertise to help contractors spot unsafe behaviors, offer supportive coaching on safe work practices and stop injuries before they occur. Zurich began offering this nationally in November 2025 after a multiyear pilot of the solution on New York construction projects found a reduction of more than 50% in workers' compensation claim frequency compared with similar projects outside the pilot. The offering is now being used on job sites across the country, including mass transit infrastructure projects and data centers. This is the second national industry award for the offering.
In addition to the Collaboration of the Year win, Amanda Yoder, a Senior Claims Handler for Workers' Compensation at Zurich U.S., earned a highly commended recognition in the Claims Rising Star of the Year category.
Zurich had four other finalists at the awards event in New York City, demonstrating innovation and leadership across multiple businesses and functions. Those finalists included:
- For AI Implementation of the Year: Zurich U.S. Middle Market and Sixfold for an AI-powered underwriting support solution.
- For Collaboration of the Year: Zurich U.S. and the University of Georgia Terry College of Business for the Certified Multinational Risk Advisor professional designation.
- For Trailblazer Award: Alicia Pavelko, Head of Construction Innovation and Sustainability and West Region Vice President, Zurich U.S.
- For Underwriting Innovation of the Year: Data Center Project Guard, Zurich's Builders Risk solution tailored for large-scale, phased data center construction projects.
“Being recognized across multiple categories highlights the breadth of expertise, innovation and collaboration we have across Zurich U.S.,” said Zurich U.S. CEO Alex Wells. “As teams and individuals, we are continually finding new ways to tackle complex challenges, helping customers manage risk more effectively and confidently in a rapidly changing world.”
